hita, i got my second midwife appointment tomorro(16 weeks) i know ive got to have blood tests but what wlse is there 2 expect! will i hear the heartbeat??

Not sure how it's done there but at my 17 week OB appointment they weighed me, took my blood pressure, and we listened to the baby's heartbeat.

I think in some places you have to ask to hear the heartbeat at 16 weeks. I didn't

i have recently had my 16 week appointment and the midwife tested my urine, took my blood pressure, weighed me, discussed the results of the blood tests i had at 12 weeks, took another blood test to screen for downs syndrome, had a feel of my stomach and we got to listen to babies heartbeat which was amazing.
