Feel so silly! Vitimins....

Been taking a general multi vitimin for a while now just to keep me in good health. Now relised it also have vit A in it!!!
Good i feel so bad, do u think i could of done damage??

Check and see if the vit A is in carotene form (it may or may not say). The carotene form is perfectly safe. Your baby is probably fine, but I'd stop taking the regular multivitamin and switch to a prenatal where the vit A is all from carotene.

thats why they have multivitamins specifically for pregnant women!

Dont worry you have to take really high doses of vitamin A for it to be a problem. If its a high street multi vit it probably has quite low levels. Do switch to one with beta carotene.

I would stop taking it and switch to a pre-natal asap. The baby is probably fine, but check with your MW if you are worried.
