definition question PLEASE?


so what is the difference between biparietal diameter and head circumference? Curious because I thought they were the same thing! thanks ahead of time!

I don't know the exact answer, but there are different measurement of the baby's head as it doesn't measure the same in all places. Depending on the baby's presentation at birth will depend on how bit the presenting diameter is (or something like that).
If the baby has it's chin against it's chest and the back of the head comes first this is a smaller diameter than if the baby has it's head more straight. But i really can't remember which diameter is which.
