lower back ache - again!..

i had back ache one day last week. i thought it ^was down to sleeping on my back but the doc said that shouldnt be it yet.

Anyway, it only lasted a day then went away. And then on friday night it was back - I was awake at 4am in terrible pain - every position was uncomfy and seemed to make my lower back ache so much!! It's like it's really weak at the bottom. After an hour or so I finally dozed off and when i woke a few hours later it was better but still there. A day later it's still feeling a little weak but much better than friday night!!!

Could this be a sign of things to come? Could it be caused by the 55. kilos I've already gained? I'm now 18 weeks pregnant, 5foot 6 and 68 kilos....if this is a sign of things to come then I'm scared!!!

I am sleeping on my side 90% of the night i think. And I try and put a pillo between my legs to stop me twisting the spine.

I hope this gets better!

Could it just have been baby or some innerd or other squashing ona nerve?!
I'm baffled.

i also suffer from the back pain, all the tips i have ive learned from trial and error
dont sit in the same position for too long, esp leaning forward that makes the pain worse. like sometimes i would lean forward to type.
in bed sleep on your left side, the best position ive found it to put a pillow length ways and put one under neath it width way ie make a T out of two pillows. then sleep with your head at the top of the T and the T's leg a little under your side to elevate you. its almost like hugging your pillow.

I get the same pain from standing/walking too long. My chiropractor said it's because the weight of your belly is pulling your spine and hips out of alignment. I've been going to a chiropractor and it has helped tremendously! I just wish I could get adjusted every day.
