Ligament Pains!!!!Anyone else had this?

Iv been having shooting pains in my lower left abdomen throughout today. It was starting to worry me as it wasnt going away and was really sore. So eventually i phoned the midwife and she said as i thought it was just ligament pain as everything is growing, i was to take paracetamol and a hot bath. I felt stupid phoning but just wanted reassurance.

Has anyone else had this???????

i personally havent, however a close friend had this and as baby got bigger, the pain got worse at times, like midwife said have nice hot bath and relax

all the timee!!!!

im almost 19 weeks, and the pains have recently come back... i blame it on baby having a growth spurt. totally normal. my MW explained it to me like "if it hurts, it's growing"

had it a lot in my teen weeks - totally normal

Hiya, I've had this on and off since 10 weeks. Don't feel silly about calling your midwife, I suffered for over 2 weeks before I called my midwife and she wss fine about it, pretty much recommended the same as yours - warm baths and paracetamol.
One extra thing she did say was that keeping the legs together and swinging round out of bed makes it less uncomfortable if you too find it painful getting out of bed or out of the car.
