I always say, "Oh really?! My doc says I'm right on track where I am supposed to be!"
Then they never say anything else.

My OH likes to tell me how big I am all the time. He likes to make "joking" comments that I am "pleasently plump"..

yes i posted about this last week. I was upset everyone seemed to think i was so big for my stage. Like I was faking it or something!?!?

Everyone comapres yoru pregnancy to their own. They seem to forget that everyone is different. But I guess it's only natural to compare.
Maybe we're more sensitive right now.

Dont worry. But big, small or in between. What counts is baby.

I was a bit peeved yesterday someone said i didn't look very big, thats twice now in the last week i have had that said to me!! Yet some people are saying i look massive! so annoying, i think they compare you to what they were like during their pregnancies.

I have to say I'm getting very annoyed with it also!! before I had my first child 5 years ago I was a size 8! but then ballooned, then soon after having him I had twins so you could only just imagine the size I was! I looked like the nutty proffessor LOL Last year I was just starting to lose the weight I was a size 18-20 and got down to a 14, then fell pregnant again! My friends (who are all bigger than me) I feel are taking great pleasure in me getting bigger again It could just be my hormones and me being hyper sensitive but it's still getting to me! Infact just yesterday I was out and one of my friends and her mum (who are both bigger than a size 20) shout on me in the street with 'Oi fatty' Wasn't a happy bunny I have to say!!

But I'll show em all, I will lose this baby weight fast than I did last time, I'm due in June and want to be a size 10 for my Birthday in December So we'll soon see who has the last laugh lol

Thanks for all your replies, at least im not the only one who seems to suffer this! I like the responses about the doctors so will use that thanks.
Just makes me laugh how when your pregnant a lot of people think they have a right to say whatever they want to you and don't even think it may offend!

I have found this as well - people (mainly women at work)constantly comment on how small I am, it gets me really upset, especially as they have usually had kids so you would think that they would think twice and know what its like. I think that women who have already had children look back and mainly remember what they were like in the last months, its very difficult to remember what you were like week by week especially if you were last pregnant years ago!! Thats my theory anyway!! From what i have read here and elsewhere every woman really is different. I have to convince myself of that more than anyone but I do think its true!!

Wow, this is an old thread!

No one can tell I'm pregnant right now, and thankfully my work clothes tend to hide my shape so it's not really obvious how big or small I am. Sooo I haven't had any comments about my size so far! But I can't believe how rude some people can be to you other pregnant ladies! I would smack 'em for judging your bumps like that!!!
