South East London or Bromley area?

Hello lovely ladies,

Just wondering if anyone else is from South East London/Bromley area??

This will be my first baby...hubby and I are very excited. Am due to give birth in the Princess Royal Hospital in March. Anyone been there or due to go there?...good or bad stories??

Would love to meet some other new mums too.

Hello Miss Tanya...

I live in Greenwich if that's anywhere close to you? I am due on the 15th March. Not sure about the Princess Royal - I am going to the Queen Elizabeth in Woolwich..

Are you going to find out whether you are having a boy or a girl?

xx

Hey 1st Timer!!!

Greenwich isn't too far from Bromley....I've ran that distance before )

I'm due on the 23rd March. Have you heard any good or bad reports about your hospital? I've heard mine is very short staffed and that I'll be lucky to get the waterbirth I had hoped for.

We were going to go for the suprise element, but now hubby is getting keen to find out in advance. So, not sure at this stage what we are going to do. I think the suprise may help give some extra motivation during the worst part of labour. What about you??

Hi, I live in Orpington and have had all my babies at the PRUH. Nothing bad to report from my experiences, in fact the last three deliveries Ive had have been really positive experiences, despite my last having complications. Midwives and the health care workers have all been fantastic .

Hey Bloomerz! Yeah, I only moved to Bromley 12 months ago from London, so I'm not overly familiar with the Kent area either.

Are you nervous about bubs??

We don't have any family in the UK, so I'm really nervous! Its gonna be a real learning curve, but a fantastic journey! Am hoping to meet some other new mums too for support. Plus it would be nice to have ppl to go for coffee with while the hubbys are at work! lol.

Hiya - I live in Brixton but my family live in Bromley where I was brought up. My brother was born in a small place on Widmore Road! I'll be giving birth at St Thomas's though!
