thrush

I think I have thrush as it burned over the weekend when hubby and I had sex and i have quite smelly discharge since last week.
Any of you know if i can take something for it? it seems it is not worrying for baby.

i had thrush afew weeks ago, took canestan pessary and the low % dose cream as advised by midwife and all good. i know u can't take the tablet u swallow when pregnant. sorry to be so descriptive lol but thrush discharge shouldn't have a bad smell?? but i'm no doc! (my doc said if it does it may not be thrush) have u phoned ur doc? maybe just clarify your symptoms with him/her to make sure u get the correct treatment. hope u feel better soon! x

hi hun i had thrush the other day and its awful isnt it!! it does have asmell of 'yeast' but nothing else really! if its realy bugging u go to ur docs and they can giv u some treatment

I had it really bad with my son, either go to the doctor or pop into the chemist and ask what you can use but there are plenty of things that are fine, also natural yogourt really helps it too.

OMG I had it soooooooo bad about a week ago - I used the canisten 2% external cream and also used a canisten pessary - cleared up after 2 days! I would reccomend your fella treating himself though as you really really do not want him to pass it back to ya and get it again! He can use the cream on his man bits too and can also take the canisten oral tablet to get rid of it... He shouldnt have any symptoms but its better to be safe than irritated again =D ! xxx

Trush should not have bad smell- yeasty, cheesy or bread-like but not really foul smelling. Could be BV (bacterial vaginosis). Best to go and check it out if it persists!!
