Cervix Pain...

I was just sitting at the computer and got up out of the chair, and all of a sudden I had shooting pain in my cervix that lasted about 10-20 seconds... I am just wondering if anyone else has expeienced this, and if it is something to worry about? I will call my doc if it keeps up... I just dont want to bother her if it is nothing. Thanks!!

Umm, I have it a few times a week. It feels kind of like pinching if that's what you're on about? I had my cervix checked and it's fine

Might be your pelvic floor muscles straining too or ligaments that insert at the base of your uterus (broad ligament)

see the pic:

Pretty normal just move deliberately and slowly and the pain shouldnt' be so 'electric'

I have it too when I first get out of bed in the morning.
