I'm Currently Feeling: | I think I have SPD I got out of the bath earlier and since then walking, turning, sitting up etc is causing me a great deal of pain at the top of my doodah and down my thighs sometimes. Should I get a doctor out tomorrow? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh dear I didn't know what that was so I "googled" it and it sure doesn't look good if that is indeed what you have I would definitely consult a doctor as soon as possible esp if the pain is so terrible. I'm so sorry you are in pain at all, this should be the best time of your life so I hope it gets better soon! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i just googled it as well (not knowing what it was). I do hope it is NOT that, and maybe you are just feeling a bit sore. Definitely see a doctor tomorrow if the problem still exists. I hope you start feeling better and it's nothing serious |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm feeling abit better this morning, although all I've done is go for a pee. Hoping maybe baby was laying on some nerves yesterday. I'll see how it goes |

| If you have it tends to get worse during the day so if you are bad with it tonight go and see your Dr. You can go to preggers physio and that helps |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I also get this and lately it has been very painful indeed as i also get trapped sciatic nerves in my back. Physio will help with things but to be honest the only thing that helps is taking paracetemol and plenty of rest. Altho not always a very practical thing to do if u already have children to look after lol. I personally find it gets worse at night and as long as i stay mobile during the day it doesnt seem as bad. I would def make an apt with your midwife or GP as they can explain more about it to u. One of the downfalls of pregnancy but tends to correct itself after baby arrives. |

| hunni, I really hope it isn't.
I got it real bad with my last pg.
All I can advise is keep your legs together as much as possible, eg going upstairs, put one foot on step then bring other foot up onto same step. Get in/ out of car, knees together and swing legs round.
Physio cant do a lot, I got a special belt off net which helped, but ended up on crutches. Take things easy and don't over do it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've got SPD as well, ever since mid second tri...i get sharp pains on my hip bones and pelvic area when walk, get off the chair or bed & tossing when I sleep...unfortunately, my ob can't do much, unless I go on painkillers but I am not willing to, I'll rather just bear with it while I still could.... | | | | Status: Offline
