I'm Currently Feeling: | When i had my DD i was in hospital for a week because she was in SCBU & they let me stay in, which was lucky really as they could have made me go home i suppose if they'd needed the bed.
With DS i was in for 2 days, but everything was much more straight forward with him. I hopeing for a 2-3 day stay this time, but only because my other LO's will be being looked after my mum. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm so glad someone posted this because I've been wondering about it.
I'm dreading having to spend a night in hospital with a new baby and OH having to go home. Really hoping I have a natural delivery. I know I'll hate it but at the same time I don't like the idea of being allowed home after just a few hours because of things like how new babies get mucus stuck in their throat after the birth and can choke on it. That would be terrifying if you'd just got home and what if you can't clear it!! Thats one of my biggest fears. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | a lot of friends i know have come home after 6 hours coz everything went ok, but some were in up to five days, depends how you and your little one are doing i think.
I dont think i mind staying in hospital for a day or two, might give me some peace and time alone with the baby! plus you have nurses to hand to help show you what to do |
