I had an awful an really scary dream about miscarrying last night

My mum and my OH just didnt care neither did the nurses they were just telling me there was nothing they could do, there was blood everywhere and i was just screaming at them to do do something they must be able to give me a stitch or some medicine but they just stared at me...

So fought my way through everybody and ran off, i'd shoved toilet rool down my trousers (lol) to try and soak up the blood and i just kept running they all just watched me out of the window...


I ran home and into the bathroom and felt something come out and when i checked there was this tiny and abit long in comparison to its width little baby covered in blood about the size of the palm of my hand it was a perfect little baby just like a new born but really tiny, it was dead, so i washed it in the sink and wrapped it in a hankie and then just collapsed on the bathroom floor with my little baby...

I dont know whether it was a boy or girl.

The baby wasnt attached to an umbilical cord and there was no placenta it was so weird...

I woke up in such a mess i tried waking my OH up but he wasnt interested, and for a second i thought it was real, i feel really empty and scared now

ive got my 16 week appointment at the midwives tomorrow and im really scared thet she wont find the heartbeat and that my baby will have died between the scan and tomorrow, ive been really poorly the past couple of weeks

omg hun what a horrible dream. You are probably just worrying about your mw appt and thats why you had such a horrible nightmare. You will be fine xxxxxx

I have had a similar dream and it shook me up a lot. Likelihood is all is fab and tomorrow will be lovely. An early night after a lovely warm bubble bath might be nice tonight to help you relax. I have also discovered alcohol-free beer - lovely for relaxing and pampering!

aww sweetie!!! i had about 2 onths of horrble dreams every night, i woke up feeling the same way, alone and empty and scared and it was just a horrible time! i beliee it is just your subconcioius letting out all its worries. try not to worry darling. your mw will explain to you its normal!

Oh hunny, you poor thing! I've had dreams (nightmares) where I've had bleeding but not quite as terrifying as yours. All will be fine with your little bub, unfortunately we can't control our dreams!

I had these same dreams - sound like yours, seen the little baby and all
and scariest for me is i had a stillbirth at 42wks and a mmc at 12w and a mc
so it scared the living shi* outa me when i had them
My biggest goal so far was reaching 12wks and comming upto the 12wks
i had them dreams and also dreaming of mmc, reacently woke after dreaming
that i had woke up in blood losing the baby.. hoped outa bed to check
my heart pounding for the day

we apparently dream about what we are worrying about and what our subconscious worries are too.. and what we think about can effect us in the form of our dreams
So maybe if you've been thinking about ur 16wk app or worrying something maybe wrong.. tats where it will play on your mind while you dream

its horrible, and scary.. but just like i was, am sure you'll be fine....
