Help! Anyone here had bacterial vaginosis? Sorry TMI

I noticed my dishcarge had became slightly off colour and has a slight odour to it.

I got it checked out about a week ago and am still waiting on results. I reckon it may be bacterial vaginosis but midwife said usually if your someone who suffers from symptoms with this (as some people dont) that they are really obvious.. ie strong fishy smell and lots and lots of discharge but i dont think i am that bad and its not really a fishy smell.

Really sorry this is TMI but i read that BV can cause membrane rupture, premature labor and infect the baby!

So worried and want my results now but have to wait!

is it harmful to baby? Doctor said to me its nothing to worry about (if it is this) but i have read some stuff online that has not eased my mind. lots of horror stories!

sometimes it does not give off smell fishy until you have sex! symptoms can vary but sometimes the discharge has a grey/green tinge to it, but there is not always lots of it. some people will get a burning sensation and/or swelling, but again, it does not happen to everyone. it is apparently quite common in pregnancy, so try not to worry too much until your results are back.

can this cause like wee sharp pains in your abdomen?

i know baby has growth spurt at this time but just checking as its a bit of a coincidence...

it can cause stomach cramp sensations - hope you get your results back and treatment to relieve the discomfort soon!

I had this a few weeks ago when I was around 10 weeks pregnant, I didnt have any symptoms at all, I only found out as I had a bit of a scare and the midwife checked my cervex was closed she thought it looked like I had thrush so I had a swab taken, I was offered either cream to put inside for 5 days or tablets, I chose the tablets and I have had no problems since. I too read that there could be a risk to the baby and was also very worried.
