Appointment today and excited!

Yay I have my next reg appointment today and as I am 17 wks I really really hope they will scan me and tell me the sex!!! But I also have to have a colposcopy done because I've had 3 abnormal pap smears in less than a year I'm not too worried about that because they won't take a biopsy even if I need one because it would have to be off my cervix and it could cause complications for my pregnancy. whew

...has anyone else noticed any changes "down there"? I've all of a sudden become very dry and itchy and uncomfortable. So i guess it's just one more thing to ask my doc about tomorrow.

I HOPE I GET AN ULTRASOUND!!!

Don't panic hun, but make sure you mention to your Doctor how you feel down below as dry, itchy and uncomfortable is not normal. But that could easily be to do with why you are having the procedure done. Good Luck! x

Good luck with your appointment! I haven't noticed any changes down there, but I'm not quite as far along as you. I would ask your doctor about it tomorrow.

Good Luck! Here's hoping for a scan! I wanted one SO bad at my 16wk appt, but they made me wait until my 20th. I hope yours are nicer! I would definietly tell your doc how you've been feeling down there, it's not normal.

well, they want me to wait til 20 wks like i thought they'd say but right now I'm in the process of trying to convince my DH to let me go get a private one done as they are only about 80$ for a 2D gender determination scan near where I live. So I've got my fingers crossed that he'll really consider it. I'm so sick of waiting for every thing! But I had my colposcopy done and my doc said there def are abnormal cells but they don't look bad enough right now to have to do a biopsy whew!

Oh! And I FINALLY got to hear my LO's heartbeat!!! Can you even believe that I haven't gotten to hear it already?! It was absolutely wonderful and like music to my ears! So over all I am happy and content and now just waiting for my blood work results (which by the way does anyone know about how long it takes to get those back? i forgot to ask)

Thanks for all the kind words guys

Glad all went well! Only 3 more weeks till the scan, it'll seem like forever, but it will pass quickly, I promise!

Glad your appointment went well even though you didn't get to do your scan.
