Cribs

Has anyone purchased a crib yet or has other children and have experience buying a crib? I am so confused since there are several different types. Any suggestions? I see they have the ones that are stationary, ones that have a drop-down gate and the ones that slide up and down. Please help!

I already got his crib and I bought a DaVinci crib. They have great reviews and no recalls from what I found. They have several different styles and types of cribs. I think that the drop down or sleigh or whatever you decide on is more personal preference and choice than that one is better than another. We got a sleigh crib 4 in 1 so it can be his crib, toddler bed, day bed and then twin bed. We got the Kalani style. We have it set up and we love the quality of it, very sturdy and nice wood.

I got my crib and changing table together off of EBay. Their daughter had just outgrown it, they're in great condition, and it only cost $70 for both pieces..originally they were $500! It's got wheels on the bottom and both sides drop down. We love it!
