Lately, my DH and I were just talking about when we would have conceived our little girl. Need some help with this guys as we are confused a little bit, haha! I had a normal period on July 20th and it lasted about 4 days. Very regular. My DH and I were having sex on a regular basis after that, but when August 11th came around he had to go out of town on some business. He was gone from August 11-August 24th. I got what I thought was my period on August 15th, but it was extremely light, EXTREMELY, and only lasted for two days, never filling up a pad. After that, DH came home and we continued having sex as if nothing was wrong. By September 9 (my projected next period date) I was feeling pregnant and tested and the test came out positive.
Now, can anyone explain to me when we would have conceived? Haha! According to the ultrasound dates, we saw that my original due date was May 19th but the growth of the fetus showed that I was a week and a half ahead of that due date, so puts me to May 7th...even though the doctor said on my records they would put May 12th since they give a due week instead of a due date. We never really thought about when we conceived, but obviously it couldn't have been when he was out of town. I've never stepped out (cheated) on my husband. The thought's never even crossed my mind, so that is not a possibility. Anyone have any ideas? Haha...we're just curious people and wonder about these things. Not that it changes anything though!
I was mega confused as well, because according to my calculations based on LMP, I was due May 3 and when I went in for a scan, they pushed me up to May 26.
Oh I know the night we conceived. My cycle was like clockwork. So I knew I was going to O on the 1st of Sept. So we started BDing every other night, and the night of the 30th, I was all ready to go, and DH was lagging behind me. So I called out 'Hey get your baby maker in here and knock me up!!' Oh how true those words turned out to be. I now tell my girlfriends who are trying to be sure to use those 'magic' words!!
I wish I could pinpoint mine like that! My DH makes constant jokes about how we're going to have to get a paternity test since he was out of town two weeks...comes back, and we're pregnant. Ha! I think he says that to fish for compliments because then I say, "Oh sweetie, I would never dream of being with anyone but you and you know that I love you and am 100% faithful to you." Then he just grins. We're just very happy it finally happened!
