Is he just lazy?

I'm 24 weeks as you can see by my ticker and for about 3 days now baby hasn't been moving as much as usual.

He's normally very active at least once in the day and will be giving me some good big kicks. Sometimes if he's had a particuarly active day I won't feel him so much the next day but he's never normally quiet for this long.

I still feel the odd flutter down quite low, which is where he was for all of yestersay but I'm starting to get worried. Is this normal?

i kno im further on than you but i had this last week where she didnt seem to be kicking me i would just feel the odd flutter but the past couple of days she has been back to her normal self and hasnt stopped fidgeting lol, if you are worried you could always call your midwife or visit the hospital and ask to be monitored or something, im sure he is fine tho and just having a grwoth sprut or something lol xx

If you're worried call your midwife and see if you can come in to be monitored for a while. Have you tried drinking orange juice and lying on your left side? That usually gets them going

Thanks.

Yeah I've tried moving around, laying on my left side, my right side, giving him a bit of a poke (which used to work) but he still barely moved.

He's tapping away by my belly button again now though so maybe he's finally woken up. I just hate phoning the midwife though because I feel like I'm wasting her time. Especially when she must get loads of calls & it's the weekend.

Oh don't worry about it. It's their job and they're used to getting these phonecalls Although there's usually nothing to worry about and the baby starts to riverdance the moment the monitor is put on, it's better to sure Over here the midwives say that you should call them if you feel less then 10 movements in 2 hours and you should count every little movement.
