I've been trying and trying to convince myself I'm still off it, but I'm very much back "on it!" I can't deny it anymore but I don't think I can bring myself to do it y'know? After the weak cervix, and bleeding, and the cervix pinching and the fact most people say it's quite sore at this stage anyway, I'm really freaking scared.

I don't know what to do? I don't know whether it's worth it? Doctor said sex is perfectly fine after 16 weeks but we all know how paranoid I am by now?

I know what you mean! I had to stop because of a low-lying placenta and i was so paranoid i was going to bleed i couldn't bring myself to do anything that involved that general area. Now that I have the green light from my doctor I'm still really paranoid about it and attempted it once and then got so nervous I couldn't continue. Poor OH But I'm finding it impossible to deny it any longer as well, especially since I probably won't even want anything to do with it once i get as big as a house

If your doctor says your okay to do it, and you can't deny it any longer, I say go for it. That's pretty much what I'm going to do. Just be sure it's not too rough just to be careful and I'm sure all will be fine.

OH knows I'm scared, and he said he doesn't mind waiting if I'm scared. I said there's no harm in trying and if worst comes to worst we'll just have to stop and try again some other time. Doesn't stop me worrying though

I know I guess trial and error is best. That's how it is with me lately. I'm sure eventually I'll get the nerve to go through with it. And so will you. But there's no point in rushing it if it makes you so nervous.

Bah I want sex really bad. My OH always looks super sexy when he comes out of the shower in a towel. We are not aloud to have sex the rest of the pregnancy because of my contractions. UHHHH sometimes I don't know how I do it. On top of that once the baby is here who knows when we will find time!! I think I'll almost be scared because we wouldn't have had sex at that point in months!

Try doing it in a position that wont be too deep. You might be more comfortable with it that way.

Well we havn't since 6 weeks because I wasn't allowed untill 16 and then I just didn't feel like it. Now I do I'm scared of it! It probably sounds slightly ridiculous but we're going to try it out and see what happens. We can always stop if I need to

I was scared to have sex for a while too, and now I just plain am never in the mood! Sad, I know! Plus for some reason I am super sore down there, maybe since we didnt have sex for so long its like I tightened back up or something, I dont know. So my husband is scared of hurting me. Its just not the same as before... And then the whole time the baby is moving and its hard to keep my mind on sex when there is a lil one wiggling inside me!!

After 17 weeks of no sex, I think my wiggling baby will be the last thing on my mind If anything that'll let me know they're O.K.
