Contraction medication

I was wondering if anyone else is on medication to stop their contractions?? Hopefully none of you will have to experience this but I figured somebody else might be on them as well. I just feel like blah on them as they make me nauseas and tired. I know it's whats best for baby as it helps to make sure my cervix doesn't dilate by stopping my contractions but I feel like the next few weeks are going to be slightly rough on my body Hoping the side effects might fade after awhile.....

Sorry to hear its having some bad effects on you hun. Perhaps they can prescribe another medication to help with the nausea? I'm on Zofran to help with nausea, I've been on it my whole pregnancy. I know it sucks to be on a bunch of pills, but its better than being sick a lot. I hope everything is good. =)

I only got an injection when I went to the hospital twice for contractions, but they did tell me that it comes in pill form. I wonder if that is what you are taking. I'm sorry it makes you feel like poo Hopefully things start to get better for you

Yeah they give you a terbutaline injection when you go to the hospital. Interesting that they didn't give it to you in pill form if your having pre-term labor. Probably because it makes you feel like crap!! Injections are no fun though hopefully you wont need another.

Sorry you are feeling so rough, maybe your body might get used to it over time and it will no longer be a problem for you x
