I'm Currently Feeling: | Question for you ladies.... Hey Ladies-
Just have a few questions for ya...I am coming up on 25 weeks along and am having a great pregnancy so far. I recently had an ultrasound in December for the regular 20-21 week scan and then one again last week to check on the placement of my placenta. The doctor said everything was perfect with our little girl and we saw her moving and everything. My recent worry is that I can't believe I'm this far along and not feeling constant movement! I do feel her kick and move and I do have a doppler in which I find her heartbeat everytime and she sounds great. But the movement is very sporadic. There will be days in length that go by that I don't feel her and then all of a sudden (like today) she will move a lot, but the movements are not strong strong. Also, I always find the heartbeat pretty low, is this normal?
Everything is perfect as far as the ultrasounds looked and the doctors had no worries, so why isn't my LO moving around more? I thought that by 25 weeks, I would be feeling constant movement with her. But...she just seems to be very docile? Anyone else experienced this? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think some babies are just that way. I have noticed an huge increase in movement, but it is by no means constant. |

| I think its a girl thing! - With my son he moved constantly and he kicked and punched hard. He wedged a foot under my ribs and pushed one out - To this day I have a big lump on my ribs where he did that.
With my daughter she moved A LOT less and I hardly ever felt kicks or punches, more her just shifting and fidgeting, as if trying to get comfortable - So I do think its quite normal....However if your movements were previously much more frequent to what they are now, mention it to your Midwife who should send you for a trace to make sure everything is as it should be.
As for the HB - I was surprised too how low it is located on a doppler and if my memory is correct, Wobbles was finding Caitlins HB low down in her Third Trimester....Its not anything to worry about.
-I'm sure everything is fine! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The movement becomes constant after 26 weeks (at least for me it did).
Just wait until you hit 3rd tri, you'll be kicked all the time. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey Ladies-Thanks for the replies! They made me feel much better! Maybe it is just a girl thing....her movements have definitely not decreased...they've just stayed about the same which isn't very much, haha. I'm sure once I get into the third trimester I'll be wishing she would take it easy. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree! I haven't felt hiccups or Braxton Hicks yet (at least I don't think so) either. Since this is all new to me...I'm always questioning whether I'm progressing as I should and such. I'm sure this worrying will never end! |
