I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi there, argos and mothercare prices are around 30 plus 15 for the stand.
you could always get a first hand basket then a 2nd hand stand as they recommend not to use 2nds matresses or something. but i suppose if you know the friend well you know how it has been kept etc.
Think im going to go straight for a swinging crib for the bedroom as will last longer and the pram i am hoping to get comes with a soft carrycot which i can use in the house too. |

| Even though you could get a new one for the same price, the used one may be better quality...You could always go check it out and then decide. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree, it is better to buy new, perhaps the one your friend is selling was pricey hence the charge of £30. Some like Mamas & Papas are around £75-£100. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'd say get a new one aswell, but it depends how well you know the person getting rid of it, you can always get the basket new and a second hand stand |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Or if you really like the one she is selling, buy it, then buy a new mattress..
They say you should never use a second hand mattress.. The mattress will cost roughly £10 - £20.. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I saw one i n argos for about £45 including the stand and it looked nice. Ive never seen one as cheap as £30 though. If you're going have have to spend an extra £20 on a new matress though you may as well get a new one.
