It's not fair!!


I just found out today that my hospital has a policy & will not tell you the sex of the baby...I WANT TO KNOW!!!!! You can pay £150 + for a 10 min private scan but I dont think I will have the money...

Dundonald hosp...I really want to know it doesnt matter as I have one of each already but I thought it was bad waiting another 6 weeks to find out now I have to wait 26 weeks ...

Me too. Are you sure? My SIL had her son there 2 years ago and they told her and my other SIL had her 20wk scan 2weeks ago. she says she knows the sex but won't tell anyone.

My hospital will only tell in rare circumstances. Its all they could do with so many people trying to sue the NHS for geting the sex wrong.

They told me when I had my little girl 5yrs ago & my friend was up 3 weeks ago she said they were really ignorant to her about it (she paid for a private scan on Monday)....I had my booking in visit last week & I only got around to reading the gumff there & it says they def will not tell you. When is your booking visit?

You can definately find a cheaper sexing scan than that. I'd check the internet for places in your area. Some places will do a sexing scan for £90. You might find less?

That's really weird. My booking isn't until 8th Feb but i'll ask. Really can't get over that.

There are very few places here that do them here..There are ones online quoting £50 + but they are all in England....

oh no thats not good if you want to know.
Im sure i saw in a magazine that those 3d thingy ones can tell the sex now so if you had to pay maybe that would be better option.
Thats really mean if thats the policy. They should just get peeps to sign something to say they understand it is not 100% accurate.
Try pushing for it when you go in and put the water works on a bit
