There was a study that just came out on Monday that said more than 1 cup of coffee a day can cause miscarriage.

I have to enjoy my occasional iced coffee as sometimes I can get grumpy without one! Also when I go to the movies I love to share a Mr.Pibb with my OH!

the world has gone mad after that Study earlier in the week. but if you're fit and healthy and dont drink caffeine often I dont see that one coffee when you really fancy it, every now and then, would do you harm.
Whilst i agree we shouldnt all drink lots every day, I dont see how one can harm. I think the report in the news recently has caused wide spread panic which annoys me a little.

I've started drinking caffeine free tea as I simply could not give up tea. Never. I love it. The world would seema cold cold place without a cuppa!..
In my very early days of pregnancy I hadnt found caffeine free tea yet and had about 4 a day of regular. Now I can drink it all I like.

I certainly do not count caffeine in chocolate...or hot chocolate even.

I only drink coke when we go out to get something to eat and I've only had like 3 cups of latte since I found out I was pregnant. I found some caffine free hot coco mix at walmart the other day it's by Hersay's.

The morning sickness effect on the
"New Caffeine Study"

Quote:
On The Other Hand: The Morning Sickness Effect

The researchers also tried to account for the effects of morning sickness, which tended to exaggerate the impact of caffeine in earlier studies because nausea is more common in pregnant women with healty fetuses. Since morning sickness gives many women with healthy fetuses a distaste of coffee, more unhealthy fetuses are found among coffee drinkers.
