You will be okay with one cup of joe. I'm a water drinker and last weekend I had 4 or 5 cherry cokes in one night. I couldn't help it, we went to Chili's to eat dinner and they put grinidine (cherry flavoring) in their cherry coke. It tastes so much better than store bought cherry coke. My gut hurt afterwards so I switched to water (oops, I think I over did it).

I started drinking coffee when I was first pregnant too, I never used to be able to stand it. My midwife told me to limit it to 3 cups a day.

I've pretty much quite drinking coffee altogether... And I used to drink it all day at work. I drink coke sometimes now... I just crave it, I think from the lack of caffeine from no coffee. However my sister did just call me and she was at Starbucks, so shes picking me up one. But I get them like every few weeks to a month these days. Just try and limit yourself and your ok.

And LO's really get movin from the caffeine. But I did hear about the new study they did that showed it could increase the risk of miscarriage in early pregnancy.
