Is it normal for men to be so excited when their wives are pregnant? My husband basically hangs out at the baby shops and keeps buying stuff. The store assistants are already on first name basis with him and keeps teasing him. He cooks food for me then freezes it for when he has to go to work,so that I dont have to cook food. He says he is just making sure that I eat properly. I have to say I am really quite surprised by this kind of behaviour. I always thought men were not really interested in the pregnancy stuff...
My OH is pretty excited but I dont think he'd ever go out on his owna nd buy something. He always likes to read how junior is developing and stuff though. He likes talking to it and feeling it kick. I think in some ways he's more excited than me.
Oh that is so nice. he is looking after you well. my OH is excited he already has 3 kids 8 10 and 12 years but this is the first planned baby hes had so he says its a whole new experience instead of oh shit shock horror how we gonna afford everything kinda reactions he likes to be involved in what our LO is getting like her clothes and her cot and others bits he chose her some really cute bibs but thats it he doesnt cook
Sometimes, i think more excited than me!! he kisses bub night everynight before we go to sleep and kisses it good morning every morning before he goes to work. then other times, its like he doesnt care!!!
