Bumped my belly... not sure what to do?

Hiya girls  just a quickie, hope Im not being totally paranoid.

Ive just been doing some filing at work about 20 minutes ago when I dropped an A4 lever arch file full of paper off a shelf above me… I stopped it falling too far by stopping it with my belly, which was a really stupid thing to do but at the time I just did it instinctively. It hit my belly quite hard, and its quite painful now.

My lower back is sore too, but Ive had that a few days so it might not be related, but it kicked back up since I hit my belly.

Also I feel a bit faint and dizzy, but Im boiling from moving files around all over the place.

I haven’t felt Junior kick since, but I haven’t felt him all day so that’s probably not related either.

I know its probably nothing serious, but Im really worried that I might have hurt him. I cant believe I was so stupid!

Anyone know what I should do?

Although I'm sure everything is fine I would call your doctor, I think they can give you the best advice.

I don't have the answer hunni, but if you're worried then I'd phone midwofe or GP. They may be able to reassure you over the phone, or even see you but it will set your mind at rest, especially if it hurts.

call your doc just to be safe, but i think its very unlikely you have hurt it, the further along you are the less likely you can hurt it is what i have heard. dont worry too much, but go see the doc or something coz otherwise every little thing is gonna make u worry. also try sit down and have some water a for a few min to cool down and see if your dizziness goes away.
if you feel actual pain in your belly - i would def see the doc but im sure its more than likely nothing.

I'm really clumsey and keep hitting poor bump but baby is really well protected. I hit mine with a heavy, full up suitcase and did feel sore for the rest of the day. Baby didn't move either so I was worried too but the next day he was moving around again.

I'f you feel unwell though or are in a lot of pain you should get it checked by a doctor. They won't mind checking you over.

I always forget about them. They're a life saver at times.
