Here goes.... Me and my sister dont get on that well she lives at my mums and i live at my bfs.....when she found out i was preg she wanted me to get rid saying im to young and my bfs only going to leave me and if he does then no1 will want you with a baby. Then she dident say nothing else about asking me to abort. Every time i say im 18 weeks preg or sumit she dont say nothing and im upset because my bfs sister is well excited shes (19) and my sister is
(17) my bfs sister is buying the moses basket. And it bugs me because me and my sister aint like him and his sister. I feel like when im with my sister i dont know what to say to her because she always snaps at me. I wish she was happy about being an aunty and can share the journey with me. I dont know if she is excited but just hiding it. shes calls me a slag for being preg at (16). i dont care what know one says i would not change it for the world!. i want her to come shopping with me and pick baby stuff and all that i know that would never happen.

Give her sometime to get used to the fact your having a baby honey. She probably just cares alot about you and is worried about your happiness and future. Me and my sister never used to get on when we were your ages but now 3 years later we do. She may be a bit jealous aswell??? Usually when your the oldest you think you are going to be the one who leaves home, lives with your boyfriend and has kids first. And now her little sister is doing all this stuff before her. Try and look at things from her side to.
I'm sure as your bump gets bigger your sister will become more excited and get involved more xxx Keep your chin up xxx

I'm sure your sister will change her mind, alot of family can be funny until the baby actually comes along and then they are completely different

Sorry to hear that she is giving you such a rough time. Hopefully she is just trying to get used to the idea **hugs** until she is ready to give them to you.

Hun I know exactly how you feel. I have four older brothers and none of them have got used to the fact that I'm pregnant let alone that I'm keeping it. It's really horrible coz I all I want is them to be able to share it with me and actually maybe just talk to me about it and get excited but it's not happened so far.
As someone said earlier, your sister probably just needs to get her head around it and get used to the idea. I know that the problem with my brothers is that they feel very protective of me, maybe thats how your sister is feeling as well?
I'm still hoping my brothers will be better about it, and I'm sure your sister will as well!

My sister is a child-hating lesbian... Which did not leave a lot of room open for her to be excited. The first thing she said when I told her was, "Gross!" (My brother - the bachelor - said, "Oh, christ."). Despite herself, however, she's caught herself looking at baby things. She still tells me if I ever make her babysit, she'll "corrupt that baby until it's a cat lady", but I know she's secretly warming up to the idea.

I don't know how much corrupting she can do anyway. The first onesie we bought is black with a skeleton on it.
