Totally exhausted & not third Tri yet - Normal?

I am totally struggling at the moment. I have no idea if this is normal. I can't seem to do more than the simplest thing and then be totally wiped out afterwards. Like yesterday I went to one shop in town with some friends and drove home. Then I had to flake out on the bed and sleep for nearly three hours before trying to do some housework. I have a small place and am having to do the housework bit by bit. Split up with conking out on the sofa again.
Yesterday I struggled like mad to clean the windows and then conked out. Not helped by last night not being able to sleep. I thought this stuff was going to happen in the third tri and not now! I really hope its not going to get worse. Is anyone else feeling like this? Or is it my age??

One good thing is that with FOB being gone, I know that had he been around he would have been giving me a hard time for being tired all the time.... at least I can conk out when I want and no one chewing my ear about it.

I was totally wiped out in the 1st tri, am finding it a little better now but find that if I have a slightly late night I am exhausted for days.

Also last weekend I had a cleaning spree in the house while OH was out and was wiped out and in agony!!!!

Worst thing is I think it is only gonna get worse!!!

I was tired through my whole pregnancy. It's not what happens to everyone but it's normal. Remember, your body is making a whole new person, that takes a LOT of energy.

Rest and know that even when you're having some couch time that your body is working HARD

hi, im 21, and in the 1st tri, i was completely exhausted. It calmed down for a couple of weeks, but now i am feeling as tired as ever I am finding it really hard to sleep, and if i ever wake up during the night, i am finding it ner impossible to get back to sleep and if i do, its only a really light sleep. I cant do hardly anything without becoming exhausted, i even feel really tired just sitting on the sofa! It doesnt help that i am moving house at the moment, so having to force myself to do bits and pieces. Im hoping this will calm down for me soon! xx

I seem to have suffered from continual tiredness, since the day of my BFP I think there has been maybe 7 nights that I've been still out up out of bed by 10pm, If I spend one day out and about shopping, then I have to make sure I have nothing planned for teh next day as I struggle to even shower, and the last few days I'm back to taking a 2-3hr nap in the afternoon, followed up by bed at about 9.30pm,
Iron levels are fine, I am just tired.

Oh thats really reassuring as that is exactly how I am at the moment. Normally non pregnant I zoom around doing all sorts of stuff. But I am reduced to just what you describe! Hugs

I'm tired alot too. I work part-time and I have no idea how anyone manages to work full-time and be pregnant! Don't worry or feel guilty just keep on napping! I think you are doing well to fit in housework here and there anyway

WALK AWAY FROM THE CLEANING - seriously who gives a **** if the fridge doesnt get cleaned today - just rest. Did you know in the second tri your baby doubles in size in four weeks (think its weeks 16-20 but not 100% sure which weeks)

I am shattered, wiped out, monged and cannot even remeber my dogs names most days - just go with it and try not to stress.

Now feet up, kettle on and watch jeremy kyle xxxxxxxxxxxxx
