Over bump or under bump jeans??

I am going to give in soon and buy some maternity jeans! I know only have one pair that will still do up

Just wondering what your experience is of both under and over bump jeans? I think I prefer the under bump but am worried that they will fall down all the time! What have your experiences been?

Any recommendations for places to buy also gratefully received!

definitely under bump for me - the over bump ones make me look awful and they keep falling down (and I have a BIG bump)

Next are good for my shape

I have under the bumps from topshop and i think they are too low, i have ones with a thin band from new look rather than the full over the bump material and they are so much better especially when bending down or wearing a non maternity top

i have 2 pairs of eah and personaly prefer the over bump, sometimes the under bump feels uncomfortable, as it digs in.

I have 2 pairs of under the bump from top shop and one pair are lovely and comfy but the other pair are horrible and aren't quite under the bump and cut into the bottom of it so I can't wear them. I think over the bump may be more comfortable but under the bump probably looks better.

ive got some under the bump ones from next that are so soft and comfy - they have stretchy sides and little elasticy things that adjust with the size of your growing bump! i've also got some even comfier ones from George at asda which i guess would be classed as under the bump as they don't go right over it, but kind of half way. that sounds awful but they are so comfy - pull on like leggings and have fake zip and botton look to make them look low rise then have soft jogging bottom type high waistband!

just re-read that and i bet ive managed to make you even more confused than you were before

I have got some under the bump ones from next. I have only just gone into them and for the most part I find them really comfortable. The only problem for me is because my bump is only small at the moment (17 weeks), I have had to tighten the elastic bits on the side and it makes them dig in a bit. If I loosen them off the they silde down! At the moment I am getting round it by wearing a bump band as well which helps keep them in place.

i have 2 pairs of over bump jeans as i find them comfortable and if ur top rides up its ok otherwise you flash ur belly

I have under the bump ones from new look which has elasticated sides not a band all the way around and these are ok but the best are my over the bump new look jeans, soo comfy and they are skinny jeans so luck just like normal jeans to everyone else! I'd vote over the bump! x
