have my 20 weeks Scan tomorrow (will be 20 weeks plus 6)

Am really apprehensive but looking forward to it all the same!

Any tips on what i need to do i know i need a full bladder!

hiya hun u dont need to do anythink but be there and have a full bladder but not to full lol or u will be dying for the toilet b4 you go in. i had a lovely lady who let me empty my bladder for 15 secs cause it was hurting me when she pressed down then we carried on . are you planning to stay on team yellow , it will be amazing for u 2 see lo again

Thanks for asking this, I have my scan tomorrow as well and have no idea whether or not I need to wee first because the last one was so long ago I forgot what they told me!
I think it's best to have a full bladder anyway, then you can empty it if need be!

lets hope lo dont flash then lol , when i went also i took wee sample and everythink cause at 12 weeks they did the blood pressure and tested the sample etc but after this one i got sent straight home i was like oh ok , was in there 30 mins and out xx

I have mine on Thursday and am really worried about having a full bladder!

My ability to hold it it ain't what it used to be

Hi Mrsq2b,
I had my 20 weeks scan yesterday, (at 21+2!) and it was AMAZING!! I had a full bladder, she did a quick scan to measure the skull circumfrence and then let me go a a pee and empty my bladder completely so I was totally comfortable for the rest of the scan.
You get to see everything, wrinkles little heart was pounding away, not just a dot on the screen but a proper heart, you can see all the chambers working away. The spine was in ful view with tiny little ribs all on view.
My two favourite bits, when she moved the probe and suddenly two little feet were flat up against the screen, tiny tiny feet, but perfect, and the profile view of my little one sucking its thumb. Beautiful.....I was absolutely buzzing when I came out of the appointment. So much more than I was with my 12 week.
Try and relax and enjoy it, it is so so special. We ended up with 3 differents pics, cos I kept saying "Oh can we have that one.....!!!"
