Pregnancy - Second Trimester

Hi - I saw an entry a few weeks ago about Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) and was quite relieved that I didn't have it.

I'm now at 25 weeks and am experiencing a dull ache around my pelvic bone area and am wondering whether this could be SPD. I have also been experiencing ligament pain underneath them bump on either side, so it could all be related. I think that this could be related to a growth spurt over the last few weeks.

To those of you who have experienced it - what sort of pain does SPD give you? Is it a sharp pain or a dull ache? Or somewhere in between??

I am wondering if what I have is just a general preg related ache.

Any help greatly appreciated...

Hi there you can get it in your hips inner thighs which is where i get it and lower back. It can vary as to how the pain is.Mine is just starting again so it's just a dull pain but will get worse over time.If your pain persists i would let your midwife know so you can get refered to a physio xx
