I am 23 weeks along and just starting a new job. Had to quit last job do to some minor complications. I am going to try to work, raise my son with my fiance's help of course and go back to school. I am just wondering when I should go on Maternity leave. It never crossed my mind until like... NOW! Help me please!!!
I think it depends on what kind of work you do. If you stand all day or do labor I would assume you would want to start leave around 34 weeks. I get to sit at work so I told my job that I would work up until the baby will let me
It does depend on how long the pregnancy will let you work, how long do you get cause most places i know of only give you 6 weeks so i would wait al long as poss.
My family thinks I should just stay home and try doing school work. My feet and ankles are already beginning to swell so they think I shouldn't be on my feet all day which they have a point, so I think I am going to listen. But thank you all very much for the inputs!!
