OBSESSED much?

Okay, so I'm obsessed with my baby and babies in general and baby stuff and birth and pregnancy and baby, baby, baby, babybabybabybabybabybabybabybabybaby

AAAAARGH!

I try and pretend I have other interests in life when talking to humans outside my home but REALLY its ALL I think about. I'm going NUTS.

It's all I want to think/talk about and I hate me for being like this as I never used to want kids and then I used to think "isn't it sad when women lose their personalities when they have babies?" ... NOW I'm that woman!!!!!

BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIM OR HER!!!!!!!

I think I may just explode form excitement and obsession.

Why can't I just be a little normal?

Hahahah!! You've just described ME!! (and I think probably all the other mums to be on here too!)

I cant seem to focus my mind on anything else!! I drift back off into planet baby.

On the rare occasions I do manage to focus on something, she'll give me a kick, and then all I can do is grin inanely to myself like an idiot!

Hehe that's what I'm like too! Ooh it is embarrassing I'm like a bunny boiler! And I never used to want children until about 3 years ago! It does begin to annoy me sometimes I have to admit! I wonder what I used to talk about!

Thats exactly me.

I keep trying to justify it by thinking "well, literature and films and music and art may all be interesting but they're only interesting BECAUSE they are expressions of humans and i'm going to actually have a whole mini human to myself so its far more interesting and something to get far more excited about" right? Right? RIGHT????!!!!

Wrong. It's lame! We're all lame. Our hormones have caused us to lose all character and personality. Ah well....

i work in a baby room, im having a baby, im lways talking bout babies ... i swear it does marks head in!!!
im just soooo excited but i dnt think ne1 can blame us .... were pregnant!!!

I think its because we're falling in love. I can definitely compare it to falling in love with my OH

and I remember trying to be cool but being OBSESSED with him and thinking about him ALL the time. Which if i'm honest I still kinda do. But now I'm falling in love with my baby.

I think its totally natural.

But still LAME!!!!

Honestly I was the same with my first pregnancy too. You will get over it.. after your 2nd it is exciting but your nowhere near obsessed as with the first one... Being pregnant for the first time is an amazing experience so enjoy and there is nothing wrong with Enjoying it to the fullest= being obsessed
