We played rock-paper-scissors for the girl's name and I won, so it's going to be Charlotte (my husband wanted Persephone) and we're battling over the boy's name... I like them both, but Gerard (Gerrit) is after my grandfather and he picked Konstantin. (like Constantine, Russian spelling).

We have a chance of twins though... they run in my family (along with triplets *gulp*) We're just waiting for the first ultrasound to find out. That'll solve the problem of choosing!

For girl names I like:

Zoey
Falen
Paige
Payten

For boys I liked:

Logan
Chase
Preston
Payten
Guage

We picked Paige Leigh for a girl (the middle name is my middle name) and for a boy I think we are leaning towards Payten Lee (the middle name is my hubby's). My husband is a sport's fanactic so we got on MU and KU's team roster's for names. He's a MU fan and I'm a KU fan (for those of you who don't know, those are rival college schools). Good luck on the baby names. Maybe you and your oh can make a list of 20 names you both like then compare them to see if you have any names that are the same. That's what we did.

Hehe, I know I think it is a lovely name. I don't care whether she likes it or not, I am not put off. So after that I have refused to tell her any names. She asked me over the weekend, and I said that once the baby was born she would then know its name.

I don't know what I am having yet until my next scan on the 21st Feb- so excited!!!

My grandmother's name was Violet and I have always loved it. I have had that named picked out since High School. If I do end up having a girl, and naming her Violet Nicole, I am actually planning on calling her Cole. I love a girls name with a boys nickname.

It is also the name of Dave Grohl's daughter.

Aww, that's really sweet It's difficult picking names isn't it? I always knew I was having a boy with Zach, so I never really had a girls name picked for him. We got Violet from a baby name website. I didn't know that Dave Grohl's daughter was called Violet too? Must be getting popular again? LOL!

Like you said before, babies sometimes don't look like the names you pick out for them LOL!

I will just have to wait and see if I have a pink or a blue bump
