trusting the doctor ?

Right ok for several weeks now ive been having a numb hand (which would think carpel tunnel) but midwife says its not related to pregnancy. anyway been havin that and this crushing pain in my back which travels into my left arm i thought it was bad indegestion at 1st but its not in my chest, i also am breathless and cant breathe in i have history of heart problems so i panick alot..anyway went to gp today and she was sayin 'ok so i dont THINK its ur heart' and im like 'WHAT?!' she thinks? i said to her well how will i know i dont want to die you know! and she said well its probably just a pulled muscle :S any1 heard of this? then she said it could be anemia but has not bothered to do any bloods? my blood pressure is low too! but anyway she booked me to see another doctor next week and this is only because i insisted! so what do u think girlies? should i wait until next week ? i feel really stuck and if it is my heart i dont want to put bubs in any danger or even myself? help!! thanks <3 xxx

I'd go to A&E hun if you are really worried, you wont have to wait long at all, they'll hook you up to an Ecg machine to check your heart.

I would do it will put your mind at rest x

Helo hunni.
Sorry to hear your going through this right now, its the last thing you need but especially when pregnant.
Can I ask do you suffer from Panic Attacks atall? Or high anxiety ?
Only, I have had this problem for over 3 years now and one thing I do know is that when panic attacks occur they can sometimes make your left arm numb and tingly and sore.
It is frightening. You could ask for an appointment for an ECG like the last lady mentioned.
Let me know how you are.

Hey there - sorry to hear you are so worried... and I don't really have any advice to do with the heart. But my sister's hand went numb when she was pregnant and she was given some sort of injection that sorted it out. Sorry - I don't know any more, but it wasn't anything to do with her heart. Definitely see the docs next week though - good luck
