Felt the first flutters

I went to a concert last night, had a brilliant night and made sure I was sitting away at the back and had loads of water.

I was really tired after getting home so headed straight for bed. Laying in bed I suddenly felt this flutter across my abdomen that I have never felt before! It made me sit up in bed! After sitting up for a minute and thinking 'what the hell was that!' I lay back down, and again I felt the same fluttering feeling.

I got up this morning convinced I had imagined it. I went and got my doppler and after putting it on my abdomen and hearing the heartbeat I felt the exact same movement as last night!

It's very weird and exciting, but also a little confusing.

Surely it's far to early to feel movements as this is our first? We have our dating scan this Friday so maybe we will find out I'm further along than we thought.

Also, I'm very slim which I have heard can sometimes effect how early you feel movements, but even still, at just over 15 weeks?

I felt summer at 11 weeks, no joke. I was really skinny, size 6 and i would feel her when i woke first thing in the morning, with a full bladder. It felt just like little flutters, i even remember the date 28th october 2004!

I didnt feel with elsie till 16 weeks though and Mason was about 14 weeks.
