I've had a few sharp, knife like pains here and there that like, stab and go. I've also had the upper abdominal and side pains too. Aches and pains are really normal, so long as they aren't like contractions and aren't accompanied by bleeding.

As your uterus grows and stretches, and fills your lower torso organs move, and the ligaments holding your uterus in place stretch too. The sharp pains you feel are most likely round ligament pains (round ligaments hold your uterus in place). They will continue for as long as your uterus continues to grow and get heavy.

A couple other things that can cause pains are: Dehydration (so make sure your drinking PLENTY of fluids), Stress (hard to make this one go away, but if you are, just take some time to relax and pamper yourself), Constipation (kinda embarrassing lol, but if you cant go, you can use something natural to help you, i.e. Metamucil or something similar). The round ligament pains is probably the most common tho. But I think if it is staying for longer periods of time, it might be something else. For me so far, round ligament pains have kinda been quick sharp pains.

Take care of yourself. Hope it gets better.
