I will be leaving this forum today

Ladies, ive been on baby and bump for a long time now, way before i got pregnant.
However, after commenting and agreeing with a post yesterday, i again woke up this morning to the most vicious Private messages you can imagine.

I have been in both of the ttc boards,trimester boards, and have regularly commented on posts here. Some ladies have been vilified on their personal choices such as continuing to smoke, continuing to drink or worrying about downs syndrome choices. However these ladies had EVERY right to speak their mind and say what they felt.

These ladies that have attacked me privately should look at themselves a little closer and think to themselves very carefully before they attack ladies whom they dont know. Its not only nasty, but it shows a lack of maturity.

I want to firstly say Its been a pleasure to know some of the ladies on here, and hope you go onto have wonderful children, and good luck with your pregnancies and lives. Mrs chamberlein, mummy to amber, mrsq ect....

Im afraid i cant remain on a board that Im not allowed to speak my mind, or tell the truth in reply to other peoples posts without getting hate mail in my inbox.

I will miss you, but i cannot wake up every morning to these hateful messages, as its not the reason why i wanted to come onto a pregnancy board.

The ladies that commented on my posts were not even from the 2nd trimester but were from the loss section. I have no idea what their reasons for using me as a scapegoat, but id doesnt matter now.

I wll miss you all ......

i never really got to know you but have commented on a few of your threads of and was delighted when i heard the other day you had a scan and saw your baby girl (but your hubby had won the bet!!!).

some people are just offensive and perhaps just aren't very good at expressing themselves?

during my last pregnancy i found bnb very much my rock and i would be sad if you lost this rock too.

i cannot understand why anyone would want to send you hateful messages - that is out of order. Can't you tell Wobbles or StirCrazy?

I'm really really sorry to hear that....I was going to send you a PM earlier just letting you know these people are in a small minority, and please try to ignore whatever it was they said.

This is a public forum, and everyone has the right to thier opinion - thats the point in these things. I'm glad you were able to express what you felt (even if some people took offence)

im sorry you feel the need to leave however you obv still dont see what was offensive about your post?!

you say in this thread that yoiu are sad to leave as you have made friends here.. i ask you if one of the people you are currently sharing your journey with say for example one of the people who have already supported you on this thread lost thier babies would you disown them as a friend on here and expect them to disapeer to you special section?!

this is in no way a personal attack on you just my opionon in fact im reporting this thread to admin as i feel it will cause more harm then good

Please don't go, although I completely understand your reasons. You made me feel so welcome when I joined and we're almost on the same dates as well!!

Leave it! Please leave it! Everyones expressed enough opinions on the matter. We're on the same journey and I would be sad to see her go. End of.
