i was opening my new dryer and some plastic was stuck underneath it.
so i tilted it to its side to lift up and get the plastic out from underneath.
i am not in any pain but im worried i shouldnt have done that.

i feel so irresponsible, do u think i did something terrible?
my friend made me feel really bad for doing that

I'm sure you are fine. I get freaked out about lifting stuff that I shouldn't, but then I think of all the Mom's that have kids and our pregnant and they have to lift them and their babies are fine.

Ive been carrying my 7 yr old brother around all week. I didnt realise I was doing anything wrong until my dad said 'you're not supposed to be lifting heavy stuff you know...' and i was like 'uuuuh... oh yeah...'

I feel fine now and Im sure you will, just try to take it easy from now on! Someone made me feel awful about eating peanut butter when I was first pregnant and it really upset me, so I know how you feel. Its your body, and you choose what you feel comfortable with, and what you do with it.

Well it turns out nothing at all I dont think.

Apparently when this lady was pregnant her MW had told her not to eat peanuts because the baby might be illergic to them. But Id been eating it for breakfast because it was the only thing I could stomach.

I asked my doctor when I went for the scan and he said it was the most ridiculous thing he'd ever heard. He said that you can't judge what allergies a baby will have and it could just as easily have a dairy intolerance or be illergic to fish or something so theres just no point avoiding things for the sake of that the baby MIGHT NOT like them.

linzi- whew! at first i was worried about eating honey ( i thought of that coz i like skippy peanut butter with honey) but the doctor said its fine, its only babies who are intolerant and not pregnant ladies. as far as i know we only have to stay away from raw fish ( ya i feel like that anyway from my Morning sickness), raw eggs, non pasturized stuff and x rays!

wonder why ppl tell us so much rubbish, there is enough to worry about
