are period style cramps and leg cramps normal at 21 weeks?

I feel like my period is going to start any second now.. started about an hour ago, cramps really low down and the top of my legs feel crampy too.. is this normal for 21 weeks? I'm not in pain as such, just feel like i'm coming on..

not sure if mine similar but I have had period cramps on two occasions so far and all is still fine so it should be ok??

If I remember correctly from last time its normal, your mussels are doing a lot of pulling and stretching as baby grows, I was so crampy myself a couple nights ago and the next day I woke up and my bump had "popped." They are doing a lot of growing and so your body needs to make room

Also I'm a bit crampy now, but I think its more gas pains then anything else

I had horrible cramps from 17-19 weeks, I even went to the dr.s twice and they checked my cervix...nothing changed and the cramps started to go away. Now I hardly have any.When they started I would lay on my left side and drink alot of water...it helped

I think it's normal... I've been getting them occasionally since about 20 weeks.

Period like cramps? Achey legs? I'd call your doctor, just to be sure. It could very well be rounding ligament pains, but it might not. What does your gut tell you?

my gut tells me it's not bad enough to call a doctor, i'm not doubled over in severe pain, or bleeding. If it gets worse over the course of the evening i'll call the midwife unit later.

I wouldn't wait for worse, I'd go for ongoing. But I'm paranoid. I went into premature labour with Betty at 32 weeks, thinking it was rounding ligaments. No bleeding either. No pain, just a little discomfort. I'm not trying to scare you, but I had been having them for 24 hours, turns out I was 3 cm dialated.
Again, not trying to scare you, just giving you the other side of it. If you genuinely feel you are fine, you probably are.
