I'm Currently Feeling: | Cramps? I know that cramping and stretching is really normal in pregnancy and all, but tonight I have this really painful one that goes from one side of my stomach to the other, really way down low. It's pretty constant, but does seem to be going away. Am I just freaking out over nothing? I was wicked scared cause this is the first cramp I've gotten that has actually HURT and lasted a long time! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah, mine started like that, now I have really bad pains around my kidneys too. Not nice.
Bump is kicking now though so I do know everything is O.K. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would call and go into the doctor, I was having pains too and I thought it was just my muscles stretching but ended up going in a few days later and it turned out I was having some contractions, can't hurt to check =], hope it gets better for you! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I just reread this and noticed that you're only 17 weeks so it's most likely not contractions, but it could be something else so i'd just call the hospital and see if they think you should come in or not |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I sometimes have really painful cramps like that too. Especially If I've moved too fast and pulled something which seems easy to do.
If it isn't going though then I agree you should call a doctor just to check it's ok. Better that than worry over the weekend. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks y'all. The cramping went away after drinking some water and then laying down in bed...dehydrated maybe? We used the doppler and peanut was doing well (a LOT higher than he's ever been before!). Maybe I just did too much too yesterday. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yea you could have over done it. And lots of people get stressed around the holidays, so that probably wouldn't help. If it persists, or if you are concerned, just ask your doc at your next appt. Hope everything goes well.
ALSO, I LOVE the avatar. My DH put a bow on my bump on Xmas, I shoulda taken a pic. =) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had cramps earlier on this week, it was at the bottom of my stomach and went from side to side. i actually went to ER at 12 midnight cos was convinced the pain was not normal, well the consultant told me it was stretching pains and that some people get it worse than others and all he could prescribe was paracetamol and to pray to God...im much better now, try not to focus your mind on it and hopefully it shouldnt last long....mine lasted a couple of days on and off. another thing is that they did a urinalysis to make sure i had no UTI and that came back negative. |
