nesting hormones ruining christmas...

lastnight we got home from visiting family and i went upstairs to run a bath and was so shocked at how dirty my bathroom was, then i went to our bedroom to grab a towel and i noticed that too was messy.. i had a bath and by the time i got out i was so wound up i spent 2 hours cleaning upstairs, hoovering and putting laundry away. i wanted to start on the kitchen but DH pursuaded me to go to bed.

anyway... this morning i come downstairs and ARGHHHHHHHHHH the cat had thrown up everywhere, there was wrapping paper and coffee mugs everywhere, breakfast dishes still on the table etc..

GRRRRRRRR ......... so i just spent the last 2 hours cleaning the lounge and dining room , i still think its a mess but ive stopped because DH accused me of ruining christmas by shouting at him for not helping me.

dont even get me started on the kitchen......

sorry for the rant but ive been in tears today and ive totally ruined Rhys' first real christmas by being a stressed out hormonal woman

oh hun im sure you didnt ruin Christmas for anyone, maybe you just need to sit down, take a deep breath and prioritize. i also get into cleaning frenzies but we have to let go of the non essentials sometimes. Ask OH for some help by telling him you feel overwhelmed, and give him one or two tasks. he might not do them right away - which will drive you bonkers- but i find that works for me.

feel better

me and Josh arent speaking cos of it lol, i have no excuse anymore and am still obsessed with everything being clean and tidy, and sanitized too i shouted at Brandon for not tidying up his mess this mornign after he got out a load of toys when i had just tidied up :S i didnt mean to, i just wanted things tidy for when people were coming round. it's fair enough playing twith toys, but you can only play with one at once realsitically, not 20+ or however many there were, imagine if all 4 did that, thered be like 80 bits of crap on the flooor grrr why arent children born with the ability to tidy up

Fell better sooon hun, im sure you havent ruined anything
