UGH girls... Its nice to be back on and catch up on how everyone is doing. I have had the crappiest week ever. December is going down as the worst month in history. On top of all my work stuff, the incident going to labor and delivery, and losing my insurance, I got another great surprise the other day. In the middle of the night Wednesday night, I woke up to go to the bathroom. Where my sink is, is separate from my toilet and sink, and is carpeted. Well I felt something wet, so I sniffed it a little to make sure my dog didn't have an accident. It was just water so I went to the bathroom and then went back to bed. (Then all thru the night I couldn't sleep because I worried what if my water broke and I didnt know... even tho my pants were completely dry lol). Well I wake up, and DH goes to get in the shower. He feels it, and realized it was kinda a lot, so put a towel down which immediately was soaked with water. So he put 5 down on top of one another. They are still getting really wet. Well we live in an apartment, so I call our leasing office, and tell them that our bathroom is flooding. Two hours go by, and no one comes. We notice the apartment next to ours (which is vacant) is COMPLETELY flooded. It looked like a waterfall into a lake. I go find the head maintenance guy, and they realize whats going on, and by that time, we have water coming thru our walls in our bathroom. What happened was someone was out of town for the holidays, above our neighboring apartment. Their toilet broke, and flooded their apartment for a few days, and it started coming down into ours. It was so bad, and just kept getting worse. So they have to tear out our walls, and they tell us they will give us a hotel to stay in while its being done. So we go to the hotel, which is actually a motel, right next to the freeway, and incredibly noisy. And our puppy couldn't stay with us their. So we go back to the apartments the next day, and tell them that we dont want the hotel, and they tell us it will be done Monday afternoon. So DH's mom says we should stay with her, she has plenty of room for us. So we did. And we have been here since Friday. And today, when we went by our apartment, to get some things, NOTHING has been changed since Saturday morning. So it definitely will not be done tomorrow. Now were staying with DH's family, and we are trying to get all of our Christmas stuff done. Its SO stressful. And now, we want to move into a different apartment, since baby is coming, and their is always the chance that mold could be in our walls. So were trying to negotiate that. UGHHH! And I feel like me and DH are in highschool all over again. Except we get to sleep in the same room lol, but it has a bunch of his old stuff from when he lived at home, that I didn't really want to be decorating our home with. But I guess things pretty much got as bad as they could get, so it cant get much worse.
ANYWAY, sorry for the LONG RANT... Just had to vent about it. I hope everyone has a great holiday, and that everything is going good for all you girls, and babies. And it seems like we've got a lot more girls on the
PINK TEAM lately.
I'm really sorry you had such a crappy weekend. I know its really hard to see it now but maybe the flooding happened for a reason, so you guys could get out the apartment and into something better ? 
Im just trying to put a postive spin on it. I hope your Christmas turns out MUCH better!
What a shit time for this to happen I hope they bloody sort it out soon. Do you have house insurance incase anything is damaged?
