staying with a friend after the birth


when i have my little one i would like to go and stay with a very close friend who is very good with babies... she has offered support. She lives about 20 or so miles from where i live? will the health visitor still visit?x

really dont no that, u will have to ask the midwife/health vistor. Fingers crossed they say yes xx

Is there any way that she can stay with you?
That would make it much easier. It will be hard enough coming home with a new baby, I can't imagine packing up to stay with a friend! I would be much more comfortable in my own home.

My mom is coming to stay with me for a week after the delivery.
