I had thrush earlier in pregnancy and I was prescribed the cream and pessary as well. My symptoms cleared up within a few days. I would advise you to contact your doc again in case it is anything else.

By wary that using perfumed washes down there could cause thrush too. You might be better off using just warm water instead.

i had similar symptoms and it turned out to be bacterial vaginosis (dont think thats how its spelt!!)
apparently its quite common n was easily cleared up with anti biotics.
but if your doctor checked you and gave prescription for thrush then maybe pessary/creams just not kicked in yet?? i had thrush few weeks ago after taking antibiotics, after takin tablet and cream it took 3-4 days for all symptoms to go.

I was about to mention to Bacteria Vaginosis thing, because I had it too, and it's harmful during pregnancy, so it's probably a good idea to go to the doctors and get some swabs done, just to check it's not that. It's identical to thrush, but needs different treatment. Obviously, if the doctor has said it's definatly thrush, ignore that suggestion! But my midwife said that if you think it's thrush, during pregnancy, you should always have swabs done, just to check it's not the harmful one. Very easy to sort though, even if it is!

Also, yoghurt applied to your bits is good for thrush, as it helps replace the bacteria you need down there. Pain to apply, and not too pleasant, but it is cooling! Also, I find that drinking those actimel/danone type things helps too, with getting everything back on track!

Hope this helps!

Not sure hun but with any kind of bleeding I think it's best to check it out with your midwife just to be on the safe side. xx
