Yup, my friend talks to my belly too. And there is nothing there other than flab at the minute, which makes me feel even more uncomfortable! I don't like anyone approaching my tummy if I'm not warned in advance, even my mum! She used to be a midwife, so has taken it on herself to grab my tummy every time I'm round to check everythings developing right, and I hate it!

It's my flabby belly, not yours! At least let me know first!

I'm obviously not pregnant yet, but I think I'll be furious if someone invades my space like that. I'm not touchy-feely at all except with my hubby & maybe my two best girlfriends, but not with work or in-laws or even most of my own family...

I would never dream of just touching someone... I feel it is as intimate as going up to someone and lovingly stroking their hair. You only do it with loved ones...

(Though my hair is almost to my waist and I do occasionally have it stroked inappropriately! )

i really dont like it only my DS or OH can touch my bump without me glaring at them!
I even bit a good friends head off for 'groping' my belly (feeling a bit hormonal at that time

)I just think its too personal,so now if people touch mine I'll gave them 'the look'

I know people are just excited but I dunno,I just feel very uncomfortable with people doing it-ESPECIALLY STRANGERS!why would you feel some strange womans stomach that you've never net before in your life!
Even before I was pregnant Ive never had the 'urge' to feel a pregnant ladies belly,could just be me though

I hate when people touch my belly, I dont mind DH doing it but Im not keen on others doing it

Thats what I don't get! I wouldn't dream of doing it, or even want to! I don't want to touch someone's belly, no matter whats in there! Why would anyone want to do that?!

Well I have seen a post like this before and had no experience so I didnt answer, but I have just started showing. We went to a family do and they were greeeting my bump before me!!! lol. It was family so I didnt mind, I would mind a really good friend either but apaart form that I would feel a bit uncomfortable

I think its disgusting and rude for anyone to touch your bump uninvited to be honest.

What gives any person the right to touch you without invitation?

People do it to me they're liable to get a slap/sharp dig to the tit/genitals, see how they like being touched without invitation.

Why not touch there belly even if they arent preggers, will make them feeel uncomfortable and get the message across maby...... Not sure If i would have the nerve to do that but someone might.. wonder if it would work.
