Are these kicks?

2 days ago (so 16+1) I felt a pop in the middle of the bottom of my bump when the midwife used the doppler yesterday afternoon she found a heartbeat where I felt the pop, then yesterday about the same time at night I felt the same pops but quite a few over and over again. Are they kicks??

I personally wouldnt say "pop" is a kick. Maybe a slight jab from a limb.
To me a kick is a proper full blown kick where can feet foot further on.

I get exactly that sometimes too. Feels like I’ve got a water bomb balloon thing in my pelvis which goes ‘blooop’ as though it’s being squidged. I’m 16 weeks, so I think this is the very first feelings of the bubba twisting round and doing it’s little aqua aerobics!!

I think you are feeling little baby kicks. You gotta think, baby is so small right now, you won't feel full on kicks. I explain them to my husband has flicks like you were getting flicked by someone.

I started getting the first movements at 17 weeks.
It doesn't move a great deal, but I feel it every now and again. It's a very weird feeling, almost like you have a goldfish swimming around in your bump.
It's amazing though to think you have a little one growing and moving inside you.

Andrea xx

I have been feeling movement these last few days, kind of like when you go over a hill in the car or when you are on a rollercoaster and you tummy jumps.

Hope it's baby
