Where is the baby now?

I'm 13 weeks today and I'm just wondering where the baby should be. I always think of it being really low, behind the pubic bone, but I guess it's getting higher. Should I be able to feel my uterus yet?

To be honest, I'm going through a not really seeing much change and beginning to get a bit worried stage, so just wondering really.
Thanks!

Ooops, 13 weeks tomorrow, I'm sure it doesn't make a difference, but just for accuracy!

the baby will still be very close to the pubic bone, i am 18 weeks not and the baby is now in between the pubic bone and my belly button.
dont worry about not much happening i still felt pretty normal at 13 weeks but this past week i have aching legs, constantly starving, get out of breath and am showing more by the end of the day. its like you wake up and your body has had a massive change over night, enjoy feeling normal lol

I've got a doppler and baby appears to still be relatively low down, it's certainly not in the podge that I seem to be getting (which I was hoping was baby not pies!)! I think it's kind of between my hips, but it hasn't moved much since my scan at 11 weeks.

Unless you've got any other signs that are making you worry, I wouldn't worry about this, it sounds normal and you're one of the people who isn't going to get a bump till later on.

I asked something similar a few weeks back as i was surprised at my 17 week appointment to find that baby was still pretty low, and fluxuspoem posted this link for me:

Fetal Development

You can scroll the bar along the bottom and it shows you how the baby moves up as the weeks go along.

Hope that helps!

Yep like the others said baby will be very low down, & being 13wks you wont exactly feel pregnant i guess until you start with a bump which will come soon enough hun x

With regards to the doppler i have to disagree with being able to hear the heartbeat so soon , whilst yes you MAY be able to it does not work for everyone & ends up leaving you more worried because you can't find it. I personally think they should be used from 16wks like the midwives do. Yes some ppl find them earlier but not all .
