Me and my DH desided to start looking at baby stuff, not buy just learning about the new world of babies....(this is our fist pregnancy (A BOY) we adopted a little girl at 2 years she is now 5) well we are stuck

We like the chololate bown and green colours for the cot and pram with baby chair, but

Baby will be in our room because we stay in a small house and ANGEL is in her girly room so.....

What theme will go with chocolate brown and shocking green?????

Winny the poo (??)
Animals we are in SA and it can get boring (NO)
Cars - it is red... (NO)
NEMO - Orange (NO)


PLEASE GIVE US TIPS .... we would like to duvet and blankets to stick with the theme and have some stuff on the walls TOYS and other baby stuff with the same theme....???

Did an Ikea store open there yet? Their Fabler range is cool, frogs in cars made of carrots etc... like Quentin Blake illustrations...

Haha, I wish I could help! People have been looking at me with a silly face when I say we are just doing a color theme - no animals. They kind of just ... look at me, lol. I figure, if they want to buy stuff with animals on it then they can surely find something with one of the colors we are using, right? I don't need my baby's things all in coordination. I don't really mind mismatched things.

alot of people do just colors like that without a actual character/animal theme you could check ebay for this kinda thing and get ideas. just do brown and green things and find bedset with those colors. like this just Im sure you can find cheaper but here is what I found in a minute.

Hmm what about bears like a teddy bear picnic? Although an animal its something differentm or poss a jungle theme where you pick animals not where you are?

With my son i chose a choc brown & cream travel system, but his nursery i did in baby looney tunes characters coz i cant stand winnie pooh & i couldn't think of something not as popular. Sorry bit useless really x

I like the idea of a Garden of Eden themed room... green walls, painted with trees and birds and animals... could work for either gender...

we have a humphreys corner theme , we have the nursery a mint green and beige , it looks fab!

To me, green + brown = DINOSAURS!!!! Little boys love dinosaurs!!! (not to mention the occasional girl ) I know its an animal, but since they are prehistoric, do they still count??? LOL
By the way - GREAT colours!!!! - I am going green as well
