If your heart is racing and you're short of breath, it's definitely time to call your MW. Are you sure it's bump and not your chest tightening or a pressure on your chest? Not to cause alarm, but it could be a similar feeling.

Gah I had this a couple of days ago. I just could not catch my breath *all* day.

Try some different positions on the floor to get bean to shift. Try all fours (like doggy) and tilt your pelvis to and forth.

I hope baby moves soon!!

Hi

Is it definately due to bubs being high up and squashing your chest? I only ask as the shortness of breath and heart beating fast are symptoms of anaemia! You may need a blood test to check? easily fixed if that's what it is - so don't panic.

I had this hun, it turned out I was anaemic so ive been on iron tablets for weeks and it made me so much better. I mean, you can get breathless due to the baby squashing everything, but I couldnt catch my breath at all and it was scary.
Speak to your midwife, they might do your bloods early to check.

xx
